VW-Porsche 914 & 914/6 Badges:
European Specification Rear Emblem

Alternate Marketing, Consistent Badging

European specification Porsche 914 rear insignia are more consistent than the U.S. models. The Euro rear emblems reflected the different VW-Porsche joint marketing approach by incorporating both the familiar VW logo and the Porsche block lettering into the 914 or 914/6 rear emblem. Further simplifying matters is the absence of engine grille lettering on European models, making rear emblems the only external badging present.
