Porsche 914 & 914/6 Chassis Dimensions

Consistent (Except for the Bumper Crop)

Porsche 914 and Porsche 914/6 vehicles did not undergo much chassis variation during their respective production runs. With the exception of the Porsche 914/6 GT and 916 models (which had flared fenders), the only real dimensional changes resulted from bumper variants meant to satisfy changing regulations: the addition of front bumper guards ("bumperettes") in 1973, rear bumper guards in 1974, and the shock-mounted, rubber-covered bumpers on the 1975-1976 model year cars. Each of these changes added a few centimeters in length. Additionally, wheel sizes and suspension tuning resulted in an overall two centimeter increase in ground clearance by 1975.
